Spinal Tap announce Stonehenge concert movie with Eric Clapton and more | Films | Entertainment

After 41 years, Spinal Tap returned to the big screen with their sequel movie Spinal Tap II: The End Continues.

But it turns out the end really does continue with a third film coming to cinemas in 2026, including IMAX.

Announced today is Spinal Tap: The Final Finale, a concert film of the parody band performing at Stonehenge, the subject of their most famous song.

Filmed earlier this year, the special show includes guest stars Eric Clapton, Josh Groban and Shania Twain.

The concert marks the first-ever musical event to be allowed to take place at the prehistoric site.

Kent Sanderson, CEO of Bleecker Street who are distributing the concert, said: “How fitting is it that this actual-probable-send-off is shot, historically, at Stonehenge, the mysterious landmark that we now know must have been erected thousands of years ago purely to serve as the setting for the last act of Spinal Tap.”

Spinal Tap: The Final Finale is out in cinemas in 2026.
