‘Tasty’ meal delivery service is 25% off as users ‘try new meals’
Busy households can eliminate the daily cooking burden by ordering plant-based ready meals that require just 10 minutes from frozen. Grubby, the UK’s first exclusively plant-based meal kit brand, has branched out into chef-prepared frozen ready meals, delivering the same distinctive flavours.
The new collection draws upon Grubby’s original allplants recipes, featuring meal choices such as Creamy ‘Nduja Rigatoni, Miso Tamari Buddha Bowl, and Tofu Saag Paneer Curry. Meals are table-ready in under eight minutes, available individually or in bundles, with a minimum order of six meals required.
The frozen plant-based ready meals arrive directly at the doorstep, offering either monthly or weekly delivery schedules. Customers can also pause weeks or months, proving especially convenient for those with travel arrangements. First orders qualify for complimentary delivery.
From £4.84 per serving, newcomers receive 25% off their initial month’s purchase (automatically deducted at checkout). The Mixed Taster Bundle (comprising 12 ready meals) typically retails at £79.80, but drops to £59.85 with the introductory 25% reduction.
The 12-meal bundle features options including a Tex-Mex Protein Bowl, two Tofu Saag Curry, Tempeh Rainbow Buddha, Spicy Szechuan Noodles, Chickpea and Apricot Tagine, two Miso Tamari Buddha, Harissa Cauliflower and Grains, Cashew Mac and Greens and two Creamy ‘Nduja Rigatoni.
Orders also come with a complimentary bottle of GOOD PHATS Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil. For more modest orders, there’s the Comfort Classics Bundle, comprising four meals such as Tofu Saag Curry, Chickpea and Apricot Tagine, Cashew Mac and Greens, and Creamy ‘Nduja Rigatoni. While all meals within the bundles are available individually, customers must order a minimum of six ready meals, reports the Mirror.
An eight-meal bundle is also available for shoppers to select. Every Grubby plant-based ready meal is gut-friendly and filled with fibre, protein and wholefoods. Customers can also cancel their subscription whenever they wish, according to Grubby.
Likewise, GreenChef provides a vegan and vegetarian delivery service, offering various recipe boxes starting from £23.36 weekly, reduced from £38.94. There are 35 weekly recipes available, featuring keto, high-protein and lower-carb alternatives.
Hello Fresh represents another recipe box alternative. This service caters for pescatarians and meat eaters too, with prices beginning at £14.49 for the initial week.
Those considering buying meals from Grubby can discover reviews and ratings of its service and quality on Trustpilot. Since the ready meals are a recent launch, customer feedback predominantly concerns the brand’s recipe kits.
One customer remarked: “I’ve had Grubby for a while now and absolutely love it. So easy to cook with loads left over.” Another satisfied customer commented: “Grubby are great at responding to queries – few and far between as they are – really quickly, with excellent responses. The quality of produce is generally very good, as are the recipes, and the customer service is a refreshing change from other meal kit providers.”
One customer enjoyed the meals but had reservations about the packaging, stating: “I have only had a couple of deliveries but the meals have been extremely tasty, and portion sizes are great even my carnivore husband enjoys them, I love that you get a recipe card with the order and I don’t have to try and read the recipe on my phone, I do wish there was less plastic in the packaging though.”
A further satisfied reviewer enthused: “Grubby has been life-changing! My schedule is really busy, so I never have time to think about my meals, but with Grubby, I have been introduced to so many new foods, and I look forward to dinner every day! Feel really good and healthy, and have peace of mind, knowing exactly what is going into my meals! 100% recommend.”
A final reviewer declared: “We absolutely love Grubby. As a vegetarian and a flexitarian, we wanted to eat more plant-based meals, and we were struggling to come up with interesting recipes. So we started getting the meal boxes, and we really look forward to trying new, exciting meals every week. If anyone says they think vegan food is boring, expensive or difficult to make – they obviously haven’t tried Grubby!”
Established in London in 2019, Grubby was built on a straightforward concept: to make plant-based cooking accessible, tasty and anything but boring. Its goal is to encourage people to incorporate more plants into their diet without the hassle. Every box arrives with specially curated Spotify playlists and eye-catching packaging.
