Tesco shoppers are urged to scan their Clubcard in stores before Christmas to unlock bargain prices on an array of festive trimmings.
From today (December 18), the supermarket chain is slashing the price of its Christmas veg, allowing shoppers to stock up on seven essentials for just 15p. The cheap deal is available across large Tesco stores and will allow shoppers to unlock savings of up to 89% – but only if you have a Clubcard. Customers who are signed up to the supermarket’s loyalty scheme will be able to unlock the 15p prices from Thursday, December 18, so it’s a great opportunity to stock up on all the trimmings before Christmas without breaking the bank.
Clubcard prices are available both in stores and online, and deals can be unlocked by scanning your Clubcard or fob at the checkout, through the Tesco app, or automatically when shopping online.
The range of seasonal vegetables that will be available at Tesco for just 15p with a Clubcard from December 18 include:
- Tesco Carrots 1kg – 15p (or 69p without a Clubcard)
- Tesco All Rounder Potatoes 2kg – 15p (or £1.32 without a Clubcard)
- Tesco Brussels Sprouts 500g – 15p (or 89p without a Clubcard)
- Tesco Parsnips 500g – 15 (or 74p without a Clubcard)
- Tesco Broccoli – 15p (or 82p without a Clubcard)
- Tesco Swede – 15p (or 62p without a Clubcard)
- Tesco Red Cabbage – 15p (or 79p without a Clubcard)
As well as the festive veg, Clubcard shoppers can also unlock cheaper prices on a huge array of other seasonal goodies in time for Christmas.
Some of the deals currently available include Tesco 20 Pigs in Blankets 400g for £3.25 (priced at £4.50 without a Clubcard), a Cadbury Chocolate Xmas Santa Selection Box 125g for £1.50 (priced at £2.50 without a Clubcard), Tesco Finest Mince Pies 6 pack for £1.50 (priced at £3 without a Clubcard, and a 1L bottle of Baileys Original Irish Cream for just £12 (priced at £22.50 without a Clubcard).
If you don’t have a Clubcard, you can register for one online for free. The card allows you to earn Clubcard points for every £1 spent at Tesco and these can be turned into vouchers, with every 150 points giving you £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers.
Vouchers remain valid for two years and can be doubled in value when redeemed with one of Tesco’s 100 Reward Partners, including Disney+, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, ASK Italian, Pizza Express, the RAC and Cineworld.
