Tesco shoppers issued Clubcard points ‘September 30’ deadline | Personal Finance | Finance

Tesco has given its Clubcard a boost, allowing penny-wise shoppers to double down on points over the coming weeks – but you’ll have to be quick. All you need to do is simply send parcels using Evri to get involved in the scheme that’s only running until the end of the month.

For every £1 you spend from now until September 30, you’ll receive two Clubcard points when ordering through Evri. Spend just £3 on sending off your parcel and six points are yours, while a £6 expense yields a tidy sum of twelve points.

To make the most of the new scheme, it’s important to check that your Clubcard is linked up with your online Evri profile. When you’re ready to make a purchase, all you need to do is click the “collect points” on the basket and it will be checked with Tesco.

These points will register to your account within two weeks.

The loyalty scheme offers members discounted prices on products. For shoppers at Tesco or those using Tesco services, Clubcard holders receive points based on the amount they spend. People can ‘boost’ their Clubcard vouchers for such things as restaurants, days out and holidays. Information on Tesco’s website states: ” You’ll collect Clubcard points every time you use your Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app, plastic Clubcard or Tesco Bank cards when shopping in-store or online at tesco.com or when shopping on Tesco Marketplace. Clubcard points can also be collected with Tesco Mobile and Tesco Bank, and at Tesco petrol stations or Esso sites with a Tesco Express.”
