The picturesque villages in top Spanish region where homes cost £38k | World | News
Several villages across a beautiful Spanish city are being sold at just €45,000 (£38,000) – but there is one condition.
Andalucía is an enchanting region in southern Spain, known for its vibrant culture, rich history, and stunning landscapes.
To tackle depopulation, towns in Andalucia are offering cut-price homes for rent and purchase.
The Holapueblo platform, promoted by Redeia, AlmaNatura and IKEA, is looking for people who want to move and start a business in 14 municipalities, reports Olive Press News.
According to the reports, houses are being offered to rent for as little as €200 (£166) per month, or if you’re looking to buy, from €45,000 (£38,000).
The properties are located across several villages in Huelva, Sevilla, Málaga, Córdoba, Jaén, and Almería.
In Huelva, the majority of options are concentrated in the Sierra de Aracena, covering areas like Paymogo, Aroche, Higuera de la Sierra, Zufre, Galaroza, Corteconcepción, Arroyomolinos de León, and Berrocal.
In Sevilla, properties are available in Guadalcanal and Coripe, while Córdoba includes La Bobadilla (pictured above) and Torrecampo.
The Málaga town is in Alfarnate, while those in Jaén are focused around La Estación de Linares-Baeza. Almería’s property is located in Albrucena.
The platform highlights the unique benefits of relocating to each village and lists all available properties.
Jose Godino, mayor of Coripe said: “Nowadays we live in a society under constant stress, a frenetic pace between personal and professional life.
“We live in a natural environment far from any type of pollution, we have a way of living totally different from what society is dictating to us today.”
The towns are seeking entrepreneurs who can invigorate local businesses and bring new energy to the villages.
Interested individuals should reach out to the respective Town Councils to share their business ideas.
This can be done by signing up on the Holapueblo platform.
