These are the top 30 signs you have your life in order
According to new research, the key signs that you’ve got your life together include having spotless cupboards, never forgetting a birthday, and maintaining control over your email inbox. But just how organised are you? Take this quiz to find out.
A survey of 2,000 adults claims that putting away laundry immediately after drying is one of the prime signs that you have your affairs in order, whilst a third believe those who batch cook are clearly managing things well. For 43 per cent, having crucial documents properly organised and easily accessible is a clear indicator of a well-organised life.
Luisa Beck, from Cricut, the smart cutting machine that helps organise life with custom projects, which commissioned the research and created the quiz, said: “When life feels organised, everything else seems to flow more smoothly.
“Even simple solutions like tidying away paperwork, planning meals in advance or keeping track of birthdays can have a big impact on how in control people feel.
“Having your life together isn’t just about neat cupboards – it’s about giving yourself peace of mind and freeing up headspace. And when people achieve that, they often feel calmer, happier, and better able to focus on the things that really matter.”
According to the survey, eight in ten Brits see themselves as organised with over half confessing they feel considerably more in control of their life when things are organised properly.
Nearly half revealed they make the effort to stay organised because they don’t enjoy the feeling of being rushed, or simply prefer having an orderly and clean environment.

But the advantages extend beyond that with 75 per cent saying staying organised actually helps them save money. Being organised prevents 55 per cent them from missing important payments, whilst meal planning can also help many avoid food waste.
Staying on top of tasks also helps many tap into their creative potential, with 55 per cent crediting organisation with giving them the freedom to be more inventive.
Of these, 57 per cent claim it creates time to think clearly, while 54 per cent feel more relaxed and prepared to create, according to the survey conducted via OnePoll.
A further 35 per cent are actively searching for creative solutions to simplify life at home – from transforming jars and ladders into clever storage, to making DIY furniture. What’s more, a third developed their own personalised organisation systems.
Luisa Beck, from Cricut, added: “Organisation and creativity go hand in hand. When you’ve got your home and routines under control, you free up both time and energy to try new things – whether that’s making, crafting, or simply running your household more efficiently.
“It gives people the space to think differently and find smart solutions to everyday challenges. Ultimately, being organised isn’t restrictive – it’s the foundation that lets creativity thrive.”
