Transfer news LIVE: Arsenal plot swap deal, Man Utd eye bargain deal, | Football | Sport

Viktor Gyokeres has a ‘worst-case scenario’ transfer plan in place, reports The Sun.

The Sweden international is keen to leave Sporting this summer and has no intention of playing for the Portuguese side as it stands.

Gyokeres has agreed on a contract and personal terms with Arsenal, but a deal has not been reached between the clubs and the No. 9 has now drawn up an alternative exit route in case an agreement is not found.

The 27-year-old plans to seek a loan move away from Sporting towards the end of the transfer window if he is not sold, similarly to how Victor Osimhem joined Galatasaray last season. Numerous clubs would be expected to come forward if Gyokeres’ plan came to fruition.
