Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd £100m move hijacked as Chelsea eye Arsenal | Football | Sport
Premier League clubs are starting to accelerate their transfer plans now that Euro 2024 has drawn to a close. Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are all set to see their summer targets return to their respective sides imminently, in what is likely to be their cue to kickstart negotiations.
Chelsea and United were both in need of rebuilds this summer, and both sides have already welcomed new arrivals as a result. The Blues have signed Tosin Adarabioyo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Marc Guiu – among others – as part of their much-needed overhaul.
United’s need for fresh faces was highlighted by their underwhelming 1-0 defeat by Rosenborg earlier this week, just days after announcing the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna. Further new signings are expected at Old Trafford soon, with Lenny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt admired.
