Trent Alexander-Arnold splits with model girlfriend as she was ‘never going to be a WAG’ | Football | Sport

Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly split with his model girlfriend after five months together, with their busy schedules meaning she was ‘never going to be a WAG’. The defender, who will represent England against Finland on Tuesday night, started dating Iris Law earlier this year.

The pair reportedly met at a photoshoot for Guess Jeans and quickly hit things off, going on a few dates before enjoying a holiday together. However, their hectic schedules have seen them pull the plug on their relationship after only five months, according to The Sun.

It is said they had a ‘really fun summer’ and things were going great before they both realised it would be difficult to maintain their relationship. Alexander-Arnold continues to be tied up with his football commitments, while Law’s modelling career takes her all over the world.

The couple reportedly went on holiday with Alexander-Arnold’s family after he returned from playing at Euro 2024 in July. The report adds that they are planning to stay friends in spite of the fact they are no longer dating.

Law is said to be career-driven and focused on her own success, which comes before any potential relationships. It is said that she was never going to be a WAG, given that she lives in London and Alexander-Arnold resides in the north of England.

Following their split, there is said to be ‘no bad blood’ between the pair and Law only has good things to say about her former partner. The report states that juggling a new romance with a Premier League footballer was never going to be easy for her.

Law is the daughter of BAFTA-winning actor Jude Law and has built a successful career in modelling over the years. She was born in California but grew up between her parents’ houses in London and her godmother is British supermodel Kate Moss.

She landed her first job at the age of 16 and is signed to international agency IMG Models. The 23-year-old is an ambassador for Dior Beauty and has appeared in adverts for luxury brands such as Marc Jacobs, La Perla, Stella McCartney, Lacoste, Calvin Klein and Versace.

Law has also followed in her father’s footsteps by trying her hand at acting, having previously starred in the Sex Pistols drama Pistol. She was cast as Soo Catwoman, a friend of the band, and shaved her head for the role.
