Trump LIVE: Russia breaks silence after Trump’s furious threat to ‘bomb Moscow’ revealed | World | News
Russia has refused to confirm whether Donald Trump threatened to bomb Moscow during a conversation with Vladimir Putin, as a gulf continues to widen between the two countries amid the Kremlin’s unwillingness to engage in peace talks. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov addressed the allegations that Trump said he would “bomb the s**t out of Moscow” if Putin invaded Ukraine during a phone call with the Russian leader before the illegal invasion in 2022. Peskov said he “couldn’t confirm” the rumour, which the US President is thought to have shared with political donors at a fundraiser in 2024.
It comes after Trump announced that the US will send more weapons to Ukraine, just days after ordering a pause in the delivery of air defence missiles and artillery to the war-torn country. The move to pause weapon shipments took Ukrainian officials by surprise, but the White House said it was part of a wider evaluation of military shipments worldwide as part of the country’s “America First” stance towards defence. America will now send 10 Patriot missiles to Ukraine, according to reports from The Guardian, after Trump told a cabinet meeting: “We get a lot of bull***t thrown at us by Putin, if you want to know the truth. He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.”
