Trump warns Iran will be ‘hit very hard’ today – ‘Total destruction!’ | World | News
Donald Trump has furiously warned Iran “will be hit very hard” today while also issuing a chilling threat as the war in the Middle East explodes to alarming new levels. Calling Iran the “loser of the Middle East” the US leader appeared to reference the comments made by the Iranian president earlier.
Speaking on Iranian state television The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued an apology to its neighbouring countries. He said: “I deem it necessary to apologise to neighbouring countries that were attacked. In response Trump said that Iran “has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore.” He added that “this promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack”.
His full post on Truth Social read: “Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore.
“This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack. They were looking to take over and rule the Middle East. It is the first time that Iran has ever lost, in thousands of years, to surrounding Middle Eastern Countries.
“They have said, “Thank you President Trump.” I have said, “You’re welcome!” Iran is no longer the “Bully of the Middle East,” they are, instead, “THE LOSER OF THE MIDDLE EAST,” and will be for many decades until they surrender or, more likely, completely collapse!
“Today Iran will be hit very hard! Under serious consideration for complete destruction and certain death, because of Iran’s bad behavior, are areas and groups of people that were not considered for targeting up until this moment in time.
“Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
This comes just hours after Tehran’s Mehrabad airport was engulfed in a huge fireball after being bombarded by relentless overnight strikes.
Last night The Israel Defense Forces said more than 80 fighter jets carried out a “broad-scale wave of strikes” on Iranian military sites, missile launchers and other targets in Tehran and central Iran on Saturday.
The IDF said the strikes targeted military infrastructure, including the Imam Hossein military university, which trains officers for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). It said the university housed multiple military assets.
This came after President Trump demanded Iran’s “unconditional surrender,” later clarifying that this could occur either when the Iranians “announce it” or when “they can’t fight any longer because they don’t have anyone or anything to fight with.”
The 79-year-old leader also vowed to “make Iran great again”.
