Vladimir Putin’s thugs blow up packed Ukraine hospital after peace talks collapse | World | News
Russian forces have targeted a packed Ukrainian hospital in a devastating strike just hours after talks between US President Donald Trump and Kyiv’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky collapsed.
Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov said a Russian strike on a medical facility led to a fire late on Friday in Ukraine‘s second-largest city.
Mr Terekhov did not give any immediate indication as to the number of casualties. He said drones had also hit an area close to a filling station and a building near a block of flats, MailOnline reports.
The breakdown of negotiations between Ukraine and the US have come at a pivotal and precarious time for Ukraine.
Mr Zelensky has sought security guarantees from Washington as Mr Trump’s administration seeks to negotiate an end to the Russia–Ukraine war.
