Recall issued for popular beauty brand items over ‘health risk’
The OPSS explained that the product has been recalled from customers who have purchased the affected products. Batches of two Bondi Sands SPF products have been included in the recall notice. Consumers who’ve purchased the affected batches are being encouraged to stop using the product immediately.
The OPSS said in its risk statement: “The product presents a risk to health because certain batches have shown signs of separation and uneven texture. If the ingredients are not properly mixed, the SPF rating may be variable and place consumers at risk of sunburn.”
Batches of the Bondi Sands Zinc Mineral Sunscreen SPF50+ Body Lotion and Hand Lotion are affected by the recall. Find the details of the affected batches below:

The OPSS has instructed customers who’ve bought the affected batches of the Bondi Sands products to stop using them immediately. Those who have bought the affected products are to “seek redress” from their place of purchase.
