Spectators at the 2026 Masters are set for a memorable experience when they arrive at Augusta National. The opening major of the year is scheduled to begin on Thursday and span four days as 90 of golf’s finest compete for the coveted Green Jacket.
Approximately 40,000 fans – referred to as patrons at Augusta – are preparing to navigate the course. Scottie Scheffler (25/4) is the bookmakers’ favourite to claim the prestigious tournament, with Jon Rahm (12/1), defending champion Rory McIlroy (14/1), Bryson DeChambeau (14/1) and Xander Schauffele (31/2) amongst the other leading contenders expected to challenge for glory.

While admission tickets to witness the action live don’t come cheap for those in attendance, patrons can take solace in knowing that purchasing food and drink won’t drain their wallets. The food and beverage prices have been circulated on social media as spectators gear up to watch the tournament unfold in person.
Sandwiches begin at £1.12 ($1.50) for egg salad or pimento cheese and climb to a maximum of £2.24 ($3) for pork BBQ, masters club, chicken salad on honey wheat, ham and cheese on rye and classic chicken.
From the breakfast menu — which is available until 10am EDT — fresh brewed coffee is offered at £1.49 ($2), chicken biscuit and fresh mixed fruit is also priced at £1.49 ($2) while a blueberry muffin costs £1.12 ($1.50) and a breakfast sandwich stands as the priciest option in that category at £2.24 ($3).

In terms of snacks, plain and BBQ crisps, peanuts, biscuits and Georgia pecan caramel popcorn are priced at a mere £1.12 ($1.50), while southern cheese straws cost £1.49 ($2) and a Georgia peach ice cream sandwich is £2.24 ($3).
When it comes to beverages, soft drinks, bottled water and fresh brewed iced tea are £1.49 ($2), while alcoholic options such as crow’s nest, domestic beer, imported beer and white wine are slightly pricier at £3.73 ($5) and £4.48 ($6) respectively.
However, when comparing the 2026 Masters prices to those from 2016, there’s hardly any difference. Indeed, tournament organisers have essentially maintained the same pricing structure, with no significant increases.
A decade ago, all sandwiches ranged between £1.12 ($1.50) and up to £1.87 ($2.50). While breakfast, beverage and snack prices have seen a slight increase, it hasn’t been by an astronomical amount.
Responding to the price difference, one fan commented on social media: “Still the most affordable menu I’ve seen in modern times.” Another posted: “That ain’t bad at all…. go to a ballpark/football stadium/ hockey rink, you’re paying 6x-15x that…..” A third remarked: “Actually so cool they do this.”
John Keefer and Haotong Li are set to get the action underway at Augusta at 12:40pm BST (7:40am EDT), following the Honorary Starters ceremony featuring Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson just 15 minutes earlier.
