An astrologer has revealed her predictions for England’s first knockout clash at the World Cup, as the Three Lions prepare to face DR Congo.

Speaking to tarot reading platform Tarotoo, Inbaal Honigman suggests that the onset of Mercury retrograde means Wednesday evening’s match will feel ‘different’ to the group stage encounters, cautioning that communication difficulties could prove problematic.

She further warns that England’s tactical approach could ‘become more chaotic’.

“During those Mercury retrograde times, Virgo and Gemini star signs feel the effects more than most, which means that Saka won’t have an easy time. John Stones, Jordan Henderson may also struggle.

“It is a time during which communication is a struggle, so England’s tactical game could suffer and become more chaotic. The good news is that the Mercury retrograde influences everyone, therefore England will be facing a chaotic opponent, too, which can help balance things out.

“During the Mercury retrograde, the past is said to be coming into the present, so stars of yesteryear like Harry Kane will have their chance to shine brightly. The squad’s elders will be set to impress.
