Donald Trump health fears explode as ‘face droops’ on live TV | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV
A clip of Donald Trump appearing to fall asleep during a White House conference has sparked a wave of debate on social media. Democrat Harry Sisson shared footage of the US President sitting at a desk in a dark suit in the Oval Office in Washington, DC, while various people spoke behind him to an audience. As one woman held a piece of paper and addressed the room live on air, Trump appeared to have his eyes closed.
Sisson, who shared the clip with his X followers this evening, said: “Trump fell asleep with his face drooping in the Oval Office during a meeting today. This is a real video that should concern every American. He’s not fit to serve.” Taking to X with their concerns after watching the footage for themselves, one person said: “He’s not fit to serve now, nor was he ever fit to serve!”
A second remarked: “Trump fell asleep with his face drooping in the Oval Office during a meeting today.” A third penned: “And the MAGA cult defends this, claiming he was reading.” Another said: “This makes me generally concerned for him.”
Defending the US leader, someone said on the social media platform: “It’s called a power nap. I’m 58, and I take them frequently. Yes, sitting up! It’s a little nappy for a busy mind.” Another added: “I don’t blame him that s**t looks boring.”
However, this is not the first time 79-yer-old Trump has been accused of falling asleep on the job recently.
Just last week, he was blasted online for “struggling to keep his eyes open” while he hosted a Small Business Summit at the White House.
Viewers who watched the footage from the live television appearance said his face drooped when he stood next to the head of the US Small Business Administration (SBA), Kelly Loeffler, at the conference.
The observations come amid ongoing scrutiny of Trump’s health, a recurring topic throughout his political career. Over the years, the President and his team have repeatedly insisted he’s in good health.
