Donald Trump sparks health fears as he ‘dozes off’ during White House event | World | News

Trump hosted a Health Care Affordability Event on Thursday, April 24, but inadvertently sparked concerns about his own wellbeing as his eyes closed and his mouth appeared to droop while others were delivering their speeches.

One X user shared the footage, in which the US leader repeatedly closes his eyes for several seconds at a time while his head tilts to one side.

The user wrote: “Trump is fighting total war against wokeness as his eyes close and his mouth droops”.

Another commented: “Trump dozes off at his event on affordability.”

While a third posted: “Trump takes a quick nap in the Oval Office.”

The peculiar incident occurred as Trump spoke to journalists inside the Oval Office regarding the continuing conflict with Iran, during which he was also challenged over whether he would consider deploying a nuclear weapon.

“No, I wouldn’t,” Trump says. “Why would I need it? Why would a stupid question like that be asked? Why would I use a nuclear weapon when we totally, in a very convincing way, decimated them?

“A nuclear weapon should never be allowed to be used by anybody.”
