Dublin fire LIVE: Huge blazes reported in Ballyboughal and Ashtown as smoke fills sky | World | News
A fire has been spotted near Dublin Airport in Ireland as black smoke fills the sky.
Fires have also been reported in the north of County Dublin near Westpalstown and Ballyboughal.
Locals on X have reported two separate blazes, with another also seen in Ashtown.
LiveDrive in Dublin has said: “Emergency services are attending a fire near Navan Road (Ashtown). Smoke is visible across the area. Take care.”
Dublin Fire Brigade said: “We’re aware of the industrial fire in Wimbletown, Balyboughal and have five fire engines including a water tanker on the way. Thanks for all the 999 calls, firefighters are already on scene dealing with the fire. If you are affected by smoke close all windows and doors as a precaution.”
LiveDrive added: “Emergency services are attending a major fire in Balyboughal. Please help them by keeping the area clear and expect smoke on surrounding routes.”
