England boss Thomas Tuchel at risk of FIFA sanctions as punishment plan drawn up | Football | Sport

England boss Thomas Tuchel could be punished by FIFA after the World Cup over comments made following the Three Lions’ last 16 win over Mexico. The German criticised referee Alireza Faghani after defender Jarell Quansah was sent off in the second-half of England’s 3-2 win at the Azteca.

He said: “It’s not good enough. He [the referee] can send any team out in any moment.

“It’s just not good enough. It’s just erratic, it’s just unreliable in matches.

“Now, we have two fourth officials who just scream at you if you put one foot out of a coaching zone. It’s just not good enough.”
