An English language teacher has been accused of sending grotesque sex texts to boys as young as 11 before subjecting them to sexual abuse. Afina Simeonidis, 23, from Russia is accused of sending graphic messages to boys aged 11 and 12 in which she discussed sexual positions and spoke in a derogatory manner about the boys genitals.

A report prepared following her arrest wrote: “According to our information, it did not stop at discussion,” before alleging that the messages escalated into oral sex and sexual intercourse. The report alleges that the then 22-year-old teacher was “aware of the unlawful and immoral nature of her actions”. It added that she committed the acts “for the purpose of satisfying her sexual desire and sexual needs”.

The award winning teacher, who was given a presidential medal and a certificate signed by Vladimir Putin, is said to have called the boys her “husbands” during the period of alleged abuse.

According to 78.ru, “there were also very explicit messages – discussing sex down to the positions”.

Prosecutors allege that Ms Simeonidis lured the pupils into her home before performing vile sex acts on them to “satisfy her sexual needs.”

The allegations came to light when one of the two boys the allegations centre on reported it to police.

Both boys were born in 2013, authorities confirmed.

Ms Simeonidis, who is currently under house arrest pending a trial, faces up to 20 years behind bars if she is found guilty.

One of the boys alleges that the abuse took place during extra tuition sessions at Ms Simeonidis’ flat.

The allegations are said to have happened between April and July last year, with Ms Simeonidis accused of oral and penetrative sex with the minors.

Ms Simeonidis denies the allegations and reportedly claimed that one of the two boys had a crush on her and fabricated the accusations after she rejected him.

Speaking earlier this year, Simeonidis told reporters: “I’m going through a really tough time right now.

“Honestly, I wouldn’t want to talk about it. I’ve been in the hospital for two months.”

Her mother spoke up in defence of her daughter, claiming that “the case with the two boys involved unrequited love.”

She added: the children in her daughter’s class “trusted her” and “shared their personal problems with her.

“Unfortunately, the investigation is ongoing.”
