Haiti gangsters ‘disembowel victims’ as horror grips embattled Port-au-Prince | World | News
Haitian gangsters are disembowelling their victims and stuffing their remains with projectiles as the violence continues in Port-au-Prince, according to shocking reports.
The horrific scenes in the island country have ramped up this year as political turmoil paved the way for the gangs to wreak havoc.
Garry Conille was sworn in as the new Prime Minister this week, replacing Ariel Henry after the gangs had effectively forced him to resign by storming the main airport in Haiti and breaking free thousands of prisoners.
Now, the AyiboPost, a news outlet based in Port-au-Prince, outlines just how depraved some gang violence in Haiti is.
Among the gangs is a group in the Jérusalem neighbourhood led by Jeff and his henchmen.

The outlet reports that the gang is well-known for disembowelling their victims and filling their abdomens with projectiles in order to poison the bullets.
However, Dr Jean Ardouin Esther Louis-Charles, medical director of the Port-au-Prince Sanatorium, says this method is unscientific and does not poison the ammunition.
The bullets can, however, carry illnesses or bacteria from the people they are inserted into.
The AyiboPost also obtained images of gang members preparing their men for the incoming foreign forces, deployed to try and regain control of the country.
The force will be led by 1,000 Kenyan police officers.
Images showed the gangs building a wharf, conducting mystical rituals in Canaan, and demanding residents return to their homes.
One gang leader, known as Izo, is “enhancing his operational capabilities”, the outlet reported.
The wharf will enable the gangs to move men, weapons, and drugs more easily.
In March, gang leader Jimmy ‘Barbecue’ Cherizier warned that any foreign force would be treated as “invaders.”
Cherizier said: “I believe that just like I said, if the Kenyans come, first of all, they will come to commit massacres in the poor communities, because the oligarchs and the corrupt politicians are going to tell them where to go on the pretext that they’re coming to eliminate gangs and bandits, and they’re going to enter the poor communities to commit massacres.
“We at this moment who have weapons in our hands are not going to allow this.
“It’s evolving. If the Kenyan military or Kenyan police come, whatever, I will consider them as aggressors, we will consider them as invaders, and we do not have to collaborate with any invaders that have come to walk over our independence.”
