I shop at Sainsbury’s but there’s one cupboard staple I’ll only buy from M&S
When it comes to the weekly shop, everyone has their go-to supermarket. For me, it tends to be Tesco or Sainsbury’s due to convenience and price. However, there is one specific product that always sends me to M&S instead.
I’d happily purchase all of my groceries in the high-end supermarket, but certain products simply don’t justify the expense for me. But, there is one particular item that I’ve fallen in love with in recent months, and I haven’t been able to find one similar in other shops. That product is M&S’s fabric conditioner.
My favourite scent and go-to is Violet Leaf and Orchid, but I enjoy all of them.
The description reads: “Our Violet Leaf and Orchid Fabric Conditioner contains motion-activated fragrance technology, infusing fabrics with a long-lasting floral scent.
“It’s created with biodegradable ingredients including botanical essential oils, which are concentrated to provide up to eight weeks of freshness.”
Prices vary store-to-store, but they’re around the £3.50 mark in my local store. This is quite pricey, but the scent lasts on clothing, which I struggle to find with any other softener.
Plus, the bottle is 1.5L, which gives you around 50 washes, so I think the price is justified.
It is slightly tricky to pour, and I’ve had many spillages, but it smells delicious and actually lasts on clothes.
I find that when I dry clothes indoors, the fabric conditioner scent often disappears, but not with these ones.
Other scents include jasmine and chamomile, as well as a sandalwood and rose fabric conditioner, both of which have been raved about on TikTok.
In one TikTok video, a user explained that she had just purchased the products to try, and people flooded the comments with their thoughts.
One user wrote: “M&S cleaning and laundry products are the best.” Another said: “I’ve been buying their fabric conditioners for years, they are lovely.”
