Incest horror as teenage girl gives birth to her rapist dad’s child | World | News

A dad who repeatedly raped his daughter has been discovered after she gave birth to a child who developed medical issues. The 45-year-old rapist from Tennessee, whose name we have removed to protect his daughter’s identity, repeatedly inflicted the horrific abuse on his daughter over a period of six years, starting when she was just 10 years old.

The sexual abuse came to light when the victim became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl, who was admitted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital with health problems. Genetic testing revealed consanguinity, at which point the victim disclosed to hospital staff and law enforcement the identity of her child’s father.

Prosecutors said the abuse happened between 2015 and 2020, when his daughter was aged just 10 to 16. A jury found him guilty of two counts of rape of a child, three counts of rape, continuous sexual abuse of a child, and incest on April 21.

District Attorney Frederick Agee said: “We appreciate Judge [Clayburn] Peeples recognizing how egregious this act was by sentencing the defendant to the maximum sentence of 92 years to serve at 100%.

“Our office has again successfully removed a violent offender from our community, and we will continue to focus on offenders that pose a threat; especially to our most vulnerable citizens such as the Victim in this case.

“Please pray for the victim so she may one day find peace and comfort after being subjected to unimaginable sexual abuse.”
