Lydia Millen teases new collection with Zara Tindall’s go to brand | Royal | News
The annual horse trials once again drew major royal interest too, with Queen Camilla making an appearance on Friday to award rosettes to the Ebony Horse Club on day two of the event at the Badminton Estate.
Meanwhile, Zara Tindall – one of Fairfax & Favor’s most recognisable ambassadors, has long been associated with the label, regularly stepping out in the brand’s iconic Regina boots, handbags and tailored outerwear.
It is easy to see why the collaboration continues to resonate so strongly. Fairfax & Favor has built its reputation around timeless British craftsmanship, creating polished yet practical investment pieces designed to last for years rather than just one season.
Lydia’s collections tap directly into that same aesthetic – classic country style with a more modern, fashion-led edge.
Much of the original Town & Country Collection remains available to shop now, although several colourways have already sold out following the overwhelming response to the launch.
The original collection focused heavily on versatility, designed for women balancing countryside dressing with everyday city life.
Speaking previously to the Daily Express about the inspiration behind the collaboration, Lydia explained: “It was about capturing these incredible women who live multifaceted lives. One minute they need a beautiful clutch to slip under their arm with a wax jacket, the next they’re heading into London for meetings. That balance was the inspiration for everything.”
Of all the designs, Lydia previously admitted the clutch had become her personal favourite – making it little surprise she chose to showcase a similar style during her Badminton appearance this week.
“The clutch has been the most versatile – it’s really two bags in one. The colours are perfect for the season, and it looks just as good with a dress at an event as it does tucked under my wax jacket for the pub. I think it’s one of those pieces that in 20 years will look battered and bruised but still gorgeous,” she previously told us.
That idea of buying fewer, better-quality pieces designed to improve with age feels increasingly aligned with where British fashion is heading.
And with royal women like Zara Tindall continuing to champion the brand, it is unlikely the demand surrounding Fairfax & Favor’s latest launch will slow down anytime soon.
