Marcus Rashford suffers new blow as Man City star inflicts transfer pain | Football | Sport

The Times is reporting that Barca are ready to offer Silva a wage of about £80,000 a week, which would be a significant decrease on his earnings at City, but that will not put him off a move to the club. However, more worryingly for Rashford and Manchester United is that Spanish publication Sport is reporting that the arrival of Silva this summer would rule out Barca making a move for the England international.

Rashford has impressed Barca manager Hansi Flick this season – and his free-kick helped seal the La Liga title in El Clasico earlier this month. But the Catalan club have been trying to lower the forward’s price, even though United have made it clear they are not interested in negotiating a reduction on the £26million agreed fee.
