And in a video released on Arsenal‘s social media channels, Arteta said: “We made history again, together. I cannot be happier, prouder for everybody that is involved in this football club. Let’s enjoy the moment.” While midfielder Declan Rice posted a picture of himself with Kai Havertz, Eberechi Eze, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Bukayo Saka and William Saliba captioned: “I told you all.. it’s done.”

In winning the league for the first time since the 2003-04 Invincibles, Arsenal have ended their longest wait for the title since their first triumph back in 1931. This is the north Londoners’ 14th league title and their fourth in the Premier League era.

Bournemouth’s draw at the Vitality Stadium means Arsenal will lift the trophy away at Selhurst Park on Sunday. They play Crystal Palace in the final match of the league campaign, six days before they face Paris Saint-Germain in their first Champions League final since 2006.
