M&S ‘very comfortable’ £28 jeans hailed as ‘great summer staple’

Marks and Spencer shoppers have been snapping up a £28 pair of jeans, hailed as a “perfect fit”. The high street retailer boasts an extensive range of denim styles, spanning skinny, wide-leg, boot-cut, and barrel cuts.

Its current top-seller is the High Waisted Cropped Slim Fit Jeans, available in seven colours. Customers can choose from soft white, washed black, soft pink, dark indigo, medium indigo, light indigo and soft khaki. The jeans are stocked in sizes six to 20 and are offered in short/petite, regular and long lengths.

Marks and Spencer’s product description states: “These cropped jeans are a versatile addition to your wardrobe. They’re cut in a slim fit for a flattering silhouette, with a high waistband for comfort. Added stretch in the denim gives extra flexibility.”

Made from 99% cotton and 1% elastane, the jeans feature a button and zip fastening. Many customers have been satisfied with their purchases.

One shopper said: “I am very pleased with my jeans for the summer – excellent fit and colour.” Another added: “Lovely soft feel and comfortable cropped jeans, true to size and length, very pleased with my purchase.”

Someone else commented: “Great summer jeans. I love the cropped length for the summer. I have numerous colours in them. A bit of a staple for the dog walking and casual days.”

A fourth wrote: “Great fitting Jeans, very comfortable, I would highly recommend them!” However, some shoppers have faced difficulties with sizing.

One said: “I purchased two pairs of these jeans in the same size – medium indigo and washed black. The pair in indigo fit. The pair in washed black are significantly larger – almost a size bigger. Very disappointing.”

Another added: “Nice smart jeans, but sizing way out!! I would have had to size up at least twice!!” Someone else commented: “I bought three pairs of the same make jeans in two colours one fits perfectly and I can’t get the second pair past my thighs.”

Marks and Spencer is not the only retailer on the high street stocking high-waisted cropped jeans. Next offers its Slim Cropped Jeans at £28, available in dark blue, bleach blue and black.

The cherry red and white versions are priced at £30. Next’s range comes in sizes six to 24, with both regular and long leg lengths available.

Meanwhile, New Look’s Hannah Ankle Grazer Straight Leg Jeans are on offer in washed black, grey, light blue, navy and blue, priced at £29.99.
