Oasis is reportedly planning a new tour, comprised of two residency slots with multiple dates. A new exclusive claims the band, fronted by brothers Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher, first have “multiple live gigs planned at Etihad Stadium”.
The same insider goes on to claim Oasis will go on to play “six shows at Knebworth”. The report then added that the tour was due to be announced over the past few weeks, but their plans changed. The report, which comes from The Sun, claims an Oasis insider said the shows are “already booked”.
As reported in the Sun, the potential tour could be as follows. The insider reportedly said: “It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June. “They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. Dates could be added, but for now, that’s the master plan.”
They went on to add that Noel and Liam had “always” planned for their comeback tour to have a second leg.
What has been uncertain, though, is their announcement plans.
“There were discussions about announcing [it] during the World Cup because of the connection between Wonderwall and the Three Lions in this tournament,” they said.

With that said, the insider added: “But they’ve settled on August. It’ll give the country something to shout about — whether we’re celebrating or commiserating.”
At the time of writing, nothing has officially been revealed or confirmed by the duo. But many fans will want to ensure they have a fighting chance to get tickets to any shows that are confirmed.
During the ticket release of Oasis Live 25, millions of people struggled and failed to get involved, leaving them absent at the historic gigs.
So then, we’ve got some details on what could help fans get involved this time around.

What to do before Oasis announce tour
Whether this tour is real or not, Oasis fans will no doubt be eager to throw their bucket hats in the ring as soon as humanly possible.
Similar to their tour last year, Oasis will likely be releasing tickets through Ticketmaster. And for Oasis Live 25, they required people to sign up via the major ticketing website ahead of time.
With that in mind, fans ought to ensure they have a Ticketmaster account ahead of time. That means signing up with your email, enlisting a secure password, and inputting your debit or credit card details ahead of time.
It would also be worth clicking the heart icon on Oasis’ Ticketmaster page, as certified fans have been emailed details about upcoming tours in the past.
Finally, for the fans who witnessed Oasis Live 25 in person last year, it would be worth writing a review of the band’s performance on Ticketmaster. While this has not been confirmed to aid in getting tickets, fans theorise it all helps towards the algorithm.
It would also be worth signing up to other major official ticketing websites, such as Live Nation and Seat Unique, in order to get updates ahead of any announcements.
