Sainsbury’s shoppers are loving tomato print sundress for £26

When it comes to summer clothing, one staple always comes to mind: the sundress. With another heatwave expected to hit the UK over the next week, a flowy dress is the perfect way to stay cool and comfortable, rather than suffering in jeans or heavier skirts.

A spokesperson on the Sainsbury’s TU clothing site described the outfit as: “A lovely summer sundress featuring an allover striped floral print with a flattering fit and a flared silhouette.

“Designed with a classic square neckline in a sleeveless shape, it’s perfect for warm-weather days and holidays.” The dress comes in sizes 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 – all currently available online.

There are no current reviews for either dress; however, one shopper asked whether the clothing has pockets, and someone answered: “I can advise the Blue Postcard Print Flared Midi Sundress 22 does not have pockets.”

This sundress is best styled with sandals such as these Cream Fisherman Sandals for £20. However, one customer advised: “I brought these last week …not so comfortable ..but ok.”

Another option is the Neutral Suede Fisherman Sandals for £24. One customer who gave the shoes five stars shared: “They are very comfy and a wide fit. I needed to go down 1 size as they were too big.”

Someone else commented: “These come up huge. I’m a 6.5, so I bought a 6, and it was still like wearing a clown shoe. Had to return and downsize. But lovely, comfortable shoe when they finally fit properly.”

Elsewhere, New Look is offering a Cream Rose Print Milkmaid Midi Dress for £45.99. This cream dress features a fitted waist and a scoop neckline, creating a flattering milkmaid-style shape.

It is decorated with pretty rose print and delicate lace trim. For a shorter cut, ASOS DESIGN is offering a crinkled mini sundress with a shirred dropped waist in sugary pink, priced at £30; find out more here.
