Scotland robbed by ‘disgraceful’ TMO decision as France earn dramatic Six Nations win | Rugby | Sport

@Historic_Ally echoed similar sentiments, writing: “That’s the worst decision, cowardly fae the TMO. Scotland absolutely robbed there.” @lmacneil17 added “There is NO way that is not given if it’s Ireland or France at home. Disgraceful!! The game deserves better.”

BBC pundit Sam Warburton was philosophical though, the ex-Welsh skipper admitting he beleived the ball was grounded properly. “To be fair, I think that is a try,” he said. “I am 95% sure that is a try, but can we say that is 100% a try? We couldn’t, so we have to stick with Nic Berry’s on-field decision.”

Former World Cup winning captain Martin Johnson also acknowledged the difficulty of the call, adding: “I was glad I was not making the decision. Whatever you did there someone was going to be upset. Cruel for Scotland.”
