The Hillhouse Quarry Handicap Chase headlines Ladies Day on Friday as the Scottish Grand National Festival starts. Today’s racing starts at 1:45pm with the Slater Menswear Handicap Hurdles, followed by the first of four consecutive Great British Bonus (GBB) races, the Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase at 2:20pm.

Following that is the Abbott Risk Consulting Ltd Maiden Hurdle from 2:55pm before Friday’s headline race, the Hillhouse Quarry Handicap Chase at 3:30pm. Three more races follow the main event, with the day’s final GBB race, the Coral Handicap Hurdle, next up at 4:05pm.

The penultimate race, the Get Home Safe With Thistle Cabs Handicap Hurdle, is due to feature a day-high 17 runners. Then, the racing finishes with the Jardine Utilities Race to Repair ‘Hands & Heels’ Handicap Hurdle for conditionals/amateurs at 5:15pm.
