Shopper says ‘my eyelashes have never looked better’ with £33 mascara

Beauty fans are raving about a mascara, with one shopper even saying their ‘eyelashes have never looked better’. The Vast Lash Mascara is currently available from Victoria Beckham Beauty for £33.

Described as ‘smudge-proof and volumising’, this mascara is said to give a true black glossy finish without clumps or crumbles. “When I was testing Vast Lash, people quite often thought I was wearing eyelash extensions,” says Victoria. “It’s that good.”

While it is long-lasting, the mascara is easy to remove, too. To use it, shoppers should pull the curved brush through lashes, root to tip, for volume that ‘doesn’t smudge for 12+ hours’, the site says.

For an alternative, shoppers could grab this Estée Lauder Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara (6ml) for £19.50, down from £29.50, at Boots. The Smudge-Shield formula with innovative polymers is said to lock in the mascara for long-lasting wear, and the brand also says it resists high temperatures, high humidity and perspiration.

Or at LookFantastic, there’s the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Waterproof Mascara for £10.39, down from £12.99. This is described as a waterproof mascara with a flex tower brush that ‘lifts, volumises, and lengthens lashes’.

The Vast Lash Mascara from Victoria Beckham Beauty, however, has been rated a high 4.4 out of five stars from more than 4,200 reviews. A shopper over 60 said: “Love this mascara, one of the best mascaras I have found. Goes on easily, no clumping and dropping of any bits. Lasts all day into night, brush is easy to use and my eyelashes have never looked better.”

A second said: “Love it. Have recommended it to friends.” While a third added: “It’s so beautiful. Gives a lot of volume and looks good in the under lashes as well. Really gentle for the eyes. No need for make up remover, just warm water and you can take it off.”

Others, however, left some feedback. One shopper wrote: “Great mascara, makes your eyelashes look long and distinct. The only thing I do not like is it’s so glossy, so if you have some lotion on your hands (which you always have when you do make up), you cannot open the tube.”

Another wrote: “It comes off easily but doesn’t lengthen and thicken enough.”
