Sir Alex Ferguson taken to hospital as Man Utd legend forced to leave Liverpool match | Football | Sport
Sir Alex Ferguson was taken to hospital before Manchester United’s game against Liverpool after feeling unwell at the stadium. The former Red Devils manager is a regular at Old Trafford and had travelled to the famous ground for Sunday’s crucial Premier League match. He is the most successful boss in the club’s history, winning 38 major trophies during his 26-year tenure.
Ferguson was taken into medical care purely as a precaution and United officials are hopeful that he will soon be recuperating at home, according to the Daily Mail. It’s claimed that he was transported to hospital around an hour before kick-off. He suffered a brain haemorrhage in 2018 from which he recovered after surgery and there is nothing to suggest this incident is related.
