Vanessa Trump has revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is now formulating a treatment plan with medical professionals following a procedure earlier this week.
Trump recently stood by her boyfriend, Tiger Woods, after he was arrested for a DUI following a car crash near his Florida residence. However, she reportedly pledged to support him through rehabilitation only once but remains fully committed to their relationship. On Wednesday, Trump, who is the mother of aspiring golfer Kai Trump, shared a personal update on Instagram. “I want to share a personal health update,” her statement posted on Wednesday read.
“I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.
“I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.
“Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery. Vanessa.”
The diagnosis follows a difficult period for Trump, who stood by Woods after he was arrested for a DUI in March. Woods crashed his vehicle near his residence in Jupiter, Florida, and a judge granted him permission to leave the United States and attend a rehabilitation programme.
Woods’ legal representative contended that the professional golfer would gain from withdrawing from public attention, and he entered a treatment facility in Zurich, Switzerland. Woods departed the rehabilitation programme early to attend Kai Trump’s high school graduation at the Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens.
Trump and Woods commenced their relationship in December 2024, and the golfer unexpectedly revealed the romance on social media following numerous reports. Woods’s children also attend the Benjamin School, where he encountered Vanessa.
A source told People that Woods approached the rehab with utmost seriousness and is now prepared to progress with his life having resolved all legal matters. “Tiger took his trip seriously and is all about continuing his recovery and putting this chapter behind him,” the source said.
“He is in good spirits and also can’t wait to put the legal issues to rest,” the source added. It was also suggested that no sentiments had altered during their time apart, and that the pair remained deeply committed.
“Vanessa and Tiger are in love, still serious, and happy to see each other,” the source claimed. It was also reported that Trump is “eager to help him continue with his progress and move beyond any more public scandals – which they both dislike intensely.”
Following graduation, Kai Trump will proceed to the University of Miami to pursue her golfing ambitions. Woods is anticipated to serve as a significant mentor throughout her journey.
