Zara Tindall sparked a royal fashion frenzy as she arrived at All Saints Church in Kemble for the wedding of her brother, Peter Phillips, and Harriet Sperling. The King’s niece was among the senior members of the Royal Family attending the private Cotswolds ceremony, joining Prince William and Princess Catherine, Princess Anne and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and Captain Mark Phillips.

For the special occasion, Zara opted for a powder blue midi dress by Australian designer, Rebeccca Vallance, featuring softly structured puff sleeves and a fitted silhouette that skimmed the body before falling elegantly below the knee. She paired the look with a coordinating fascinator, creating a polished monochromatic ensemble that felt perfectly suited to a traditional country church wedding.

The soft blue shade may also have served as a sweet nod to her future sister-in-law, with Harriet’s mother also embracing the colour in keeping with the age-old “something blue” wedding tradition. Against the grey skies and persistent rain, the vibrant hue brought a welcome sense of brightness to the celebrations.

Fans hailed the look, with one royal watcher sharing on X [formerly known as Twitter], “No matter what Zara wears she always pulls it off.”

Praising her effort for sustainable dressing, another penned. “I love that she didn’t wear something new, the Rebecca Vallance dress was made for her.” Another chimed in and shared, “Just stunning and love that she wore blue.”

Zara was not the only royal guest embracing colour for the special occasion. Princess Catherine was spotted arriving in a sophisticated butter yellow ensemble, bringing a fresh seasonal feel to the family wedding.

Peter’s mother, the Princess Royal, rocked a floral ensemble that featured a wide-brimmed hat. Meanwhile, the Duchess of Edinburgh appeared to co-ordinate with Zara, also opting for a blue outfit for the celebrations – along with several other wedding guests.

The repeated use of blue throughout the wedding party and guest list created a striking visual theme across the day.

Keeping her accessories understated, Zara allowed the outfit to do all the talking. Her signature pared-back makeup, swept-back blonde updo and minimal jewellery ensured the focus remained on the elegant silhouette, while also allowing the bride to remain firmly at the centre of attention.

The overall look struck the perfect balance between sophistication and restraint – a hallmark of Zara’s wedding guest style over the years and one that felt particularly fitting for such an intimate family occasion.

Zara has long established herself as one of the Royal Family’s most stylish members, regularly opting for bold colours, tailored silhouettes and practical yet sophisticated accessories for major family occasions.

The wedding appeared to be a relatively intimate affair, centred around the joining of two families rather than royal pomp and ceremony.

While it came as little surprise that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were absent from the guest list given their distance from the wider Royal Family in recent years, the attendance of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie proved a welcome surprise for royal watchers.

The York sisters arrived alongside their husbands, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Jack Brooksbank, stepping out in colourful ensembles for the Gloucestershire celebration.

Their appearance raised eyebrows among some royal fans, with both sisters having largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent months.
