Berlin Pride LIVE: One dead and several injured after vehicle drives into crowd | World | News
One person has reportedly died after a car crashed into a crowd of people near the route of a pride parade in Berlin. The spokesman for police in the German capital said “numerous” have been hurt, including several with life-threatening injuries.
Florian Nath confirmed a manhunt is underway for one or several suspects. He said a white car was driven into Tiergarten Park, hitting several people along a road that goes through the large green space. Images from the scene show a major emergency response, with people pictured being rushed into ambulances.
The Christopher Street Day, one of Europe’s biggest pride events, has been cancelled.
